The story of Ruth and Boaz is a beautiful picture of our relationship with Jesus, our redeemer.

If you belong to Jesus, you are like Ruth- a stranger in a foreign land, without hope or resources, but seeking favor- and Jesus is like Boaz- the man who has the power to redeem, and who enthusiastically binds himself to us as our redeemer Read today’s passage with this in mind.
